South West Leaders April 2021 Recap

Recent lockdowns have reminded us not to get complacent in a false sense of security. Our South West Leaders workshops are always ready to be delivered over Zoom in the event of lockdown or even just for individuals unable to make it due to illness. This capability was activated in April for some reasons for exactly that reason!

Rob Koch from RWK Accountancy kicked the session off with a workshop explaining how to get money out of the company in the most tax effective way possible. Bridget Green of Bridgelight followed this up with a look at a new model of conducting performance appraisals - The Five Conversation Model - which stimulates positive and productive conversation between staff and managers.

Bridget then led a thought provoking conversation on the Round Table as a continuation of her presentation while Industry Experts led the 'Ask The Expert' segment of the afternoon with some one on one discussions with members about current issues in their businesses.

Thanks to Lorraine Madden of Lavan who hosted our Connect Event for the afternoon and provided an up to date insight into an issue in her industry. The Connect event is focussed on nurturing long term trusted business relationships and it was great to hear from Bronwyn Snelling, owner of The Green Depot in Bunbury about her growing business.
